The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing that matters. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, website and regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
