TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
